EMDR Training (Parts 1-4)
I qualified as a Learning Disability Nurse in 1992 and spent 11 years working as
a Community Learning Disability Nurse before moving to work in the Drug and Alcohol
field in 2003. I am accredited as both a Rational Emotive and Cognitive Behaviour
Therapist and EMDR practitioner. I currently work both for the NHS and in private practice and I am experienced
in working with a wide range of mental health problems.
How important is BABCP & AREBT accreditation?
The answer to that is 'very important'. When a therapist is BABCP & AREBT accredited
you know that they have undertaken a minimum of 650 hours training and clinical practice,
and that their work is continually monitored to ensure it remains current and of
the highest standard.
